Getting Back On the Board -Getting Started

A back injury can be life changing. Suddenly everyday tasks and routines become impossible and you are forced to adapt your entire life, even abstaining from beloved hobbies.

Our client Boarder has been on such a journey. He has had to change his life and hobbies while recuperating and seeing medical professionals. He is now ready to achieve his own personal health goals in order to reclaim his hobbies and revisit his passion for snowboarding.

SPS took the time to understand Boarder’s goals and set up an ongoing plan of success to get him back on those glistening white slopes. We will follow Boarder on this journey, checking in monthly and reviewing difficulties and successes along the way.

Goals:

·         Weight loss – Ideal weight under 200lbs

·         Muscle and body tone improvement

·         Physical Fitness improvement

·         Eating habits – Eating right instead of convenient

·         Get back to the snow/surf board.

Taking into account medical advice and personal restrictions due to the back injury, we have devised a Monday to Friday weight routine with boarder and delivered our clean eating weekly plan.

Boarder is extremely keen to dig in, heading to us with a can-do attitude that is focused on his goals. He has happily chosen to use Kettlebells, Weights and an accountability support program for his journey.

Quote From our Boarder

"I have tried IF, CICO, and running. So far, I've not achieved success. While I've only been working with Strength Per Second for 3weeks, I've already dropped 9lbs and feel better. Not easy, but this is the guidance that I've been missing. If you have questions on what gear, what to do when, how to do it, or what your nutritional goals should be, they are answered. I've never been able to get this type of personalized guidance before. To me, this equals success. More to come on my journey as things progress. Stay tuned!"

Boarder has begun his journey setting himself up with suggested equipment and is monitoring his statistics using the “Lose It” app.

Next month we will review the changes and achievements Boarder has made.

So please join us on wishing Boarder Good Luck and welcoming him to the SPS Family.
